High above Strobl and Lake Wolfgang is the family ski area of Postalm. Sunny and snow sure it is a great place for beginners and improvers alike. There is also wonderful cross country skiing, tubing, tobogganning and winter walks.
Strobl is a well-known travel destination. Boats from Strobl sail around the Wolfgangsee, providing transport and views of the surrounding mountains.
In winter there is also good access to skiing at Dachstein West, Dachstein Krippenstein and Gaissau-Hintersee.
